Tim established McInnes Corporate Finance in Leeds in 1994 and managed the business from start-up to being one of the UK's largest independent corporate finance practices. Tim has significant transaction experience across a wide range of industries and now specialises in strategic advisory, private equity transactions and due diligence.

Prior to establishing McInnes Corporate Finance,Tim joined Spicer Oppenheim, which was ultimately to become part of Deloitte & Touche, where he qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1990. He went on to gain an MBA from Manchester Business School in 1992 before leaving Deloitte & Touche to join an independent corporate finance specialist in Manchester.
