The McInnes Corporate Finance team are celebrating again following their recent success at EN Magazine's Yorkshire Deal Awards.

The firm was shortlisted for two deals in the £10m - £50m deal category for their work at the centre of the £25m Bottle Green Ltd disposal to the DCC Group in July last year, as well as the winning deal, the InTouch Group plc disposal. InTouch, the Cleckheaton-based packaging firm with turnover in excess of £20m was sold in September to a US packaging giant Matthews International for an undisclosed sum. McInnes handled the negotiations and structure of the deal for the shareholders of InTouch.

Dave Irwin was also rewarded with a nomination for Corporate Financier of the Year in the awards that recognise the best of the region’s deal making activity.

“Our reputation, and the acknowledgement we get for the quality of our work is growing every year. To be involved in half of the deals nominated for ‘Deal of the Year’, and to win the award overall is very rewarding for everyone involved in the InTouch transaction,” commented Dave Irwin.

The nominations follow a strong showing in November’s Insider Dealmakers awards, and position the firm at the forefront of the corporate finance market in the area.
